 I hardley touch my camera lately. Today I had to take my camera outside for taking some photos, even "just" for my soul

Aabout last night

 Last night I was invited, not as a photographer. There was a conference at a private hospital at North Tel Aviv. At the end there waa a show of Sharon Klein. She has invited me to watch her because of our history of music and photography. And because that she knows I love her music. She counts as a medical miravcle. She got very rare cancer years ago. Till it has been found out which illness she got - the doctors gave her maximum few months to live. At this hospital she received a good personal care with an experimental care. It saved her life. she made there a show in volunteering. I came without my camera but I had to take a photo or two, so with my phone:

And because I came as an audience - I felt cool to ask for a photo with her in the end of the show:

Dinner

 

One of those moments that I decide to write something which looks a bit out of nowhere. And with a weird photo from the phone.

I'm in few Facebook groups for photographers. Two of the groups made for women only. With one I already went out once from my comfort zone and I was leading a photography trour at Tel Aviv. Last night I went out my comfort zone with the other group. A group with two admins. They created couple of dinners for some photographers from the group who were registered on time. I registered for the second one. It took a part last night at Jaffa, at the apartment of one of them. They gave lots of wine (it's possible that I was drinking  bit too much). Each one of the photographers who joined them needed to bring something to eat that all of us will share. For my happiness - the order was to bring only vegetarian food. I could eat everything, and all the things that I ate was good (I know that I brought some good food from a cool deli, but the others brought some good food as well). 12 photographers, none brought a camera and there is not even one decent photo from dinner itself. During the dinner we were talking. Each one told what is her photography zone, I was happy to find out that no one takes the "ordinary" things of women photography. Some of them I knew before through Facebook. First time that I met all in real life. 

It was fun. Really fun. I enjoyed meeting some interesting women/colleagues and to know them. I enjoyed the food and wine. And because of the situation - there is only one photo that I took in the end of dinner, a photo that I took with my phone... So, here's a phone photo of my plate after I ate and drank too much

Lights on

 It's this time of the year that it's getting dark early. When I got back from afternoon walk with my dog - I saw this light near my house. I went out again with the camera for I could take some photos

About the food photography

 

One of the things that I take commercial photos of - vegetarian and vegen food.
Now all restaurants, at least here are in danger. I heard in a podcast that it's ll over the world because people don't want to work so hard. Here it's also a thing that after finally the Covid19 danger has over - a long war has started. A vegan restaurant that I love in Tel Aviv (Goodness) meant to be closed because of it. When foodies heard the news - asked to keep it. Workers has been found and people came bace to eat there. This restaurant has been saved. Many others has been closed all over the stated recently, nombers that no one remembers. 

I had couple of weird things about the danger for restaurants and my photography recently. I wasn't sure if I should publish here. Well, at least here too many people don't see photography as a real job. Even in normal days. So...  I'm taking ot out:

Recently I received an e-mail from someone who told me he got my mail from XXX (just the first regular name) from the foundation (I don't know which). He wants my details for giving for restaurants in closing danger. I need to give one photo and details for how many I will give my service cause all will want. I took a little time and answered.  OK, I gave a photo, I wrote area in the state, I told how many restaurants and how many dishes. I wrote what is my regular price and how much discount do I agree. After a while - he wrote me that it missunderstood cause he I understood from XXX it will be for free. As a foundation he can't give suplliers for money for buisess... Well, it also took me a while to remember a writing with someone with a name like he told me from a foundation, I don't remember which foundation and I really don't rememeber what was the final decision. I can't work for free. I'm a buisiness who who gives service to over buisiness who can use it for marketing. Prices here for all are getting higer. I can't give my service for free. And with a terrible Hebrew he asked me if I want to publish in their group (which I have no idea what is the group's name) and it will aprove. I dodn't answer that. 

I'm also in a Facebook group with a publishing day every week. This week I wrote about my food photography and how much it needed to save restaurants. Someone that I don't remember that she ever commented to me, even no in "like" sign, someone who never publish herself wrote a comment. My photos are good, but I use the same so no one can take me seriously... Oh, now I know that you see my posts.

And here are some food photos that I took and use ase marketing myself
