Say "Hello" to Shadow

At the foundation that I used to volunteer at - there is a thing of showing how much it's fun to have dogs and cats at home. The way of bring people to adopt. So, one of the things was showing some photos from home of dogs and cats that has been adopted from the foundation. I was adopting Pie during volunteering there. Pie wasn't publiced this way (I'm not sure why). Recently Pie has passed away (age and some heart issues that he started to have). I took some time to cry over him. I still miss Pie, but I can't be without a dog for too long. After a whie I came back to the same foundation and I was adopting Shadow. I didn't mean it this way, but in my ault life I have so far only male dogs (as a child I grew up with a female dog). And now for the first time ever I have a purebred dog.

Today at the Facebook page of the foundation has been published those photos of Shadow as "Hello" from home. I took those photos recently. It's next to my favorite store for pets, which is at the same street where I live. I took those photos at the phone (and sent it to the manager of the foundation, also for a post like this one). I'm waiting for taking some photos of Shadow also with the pro camera

After a while of sadness

I wish I could be full with happiness for the war has over and all live hostages has came back.

Recently I went with my dog Pie to his vet. Only a vaccine. His vet checked him and found out a fat block, non cancer that needed a surgery to pull out. By checking to the surgery - has been found out that he also started with some heart problems. He needed some pills to stabilize his heart. After a while - one more check, his heart was ready for the surgery. He meant to have it almost two weeks ago. an anesthesiologist came from a pets' hospital. The anesthesiologist checked him and was angry with me, his heart wasn't stable again and it was dangerous to make the surgert. The surgery had another date.

15TH October, only few days after - we went out for noon walk. Pie said "Hello" at our favorite pets' store. We went to the dogs' garden. He plays a bit. Then he collappsed. The horror movie has started. I made a try to take him in my hands (I made it before, althout his weight). This time - he almost fell. It's next to a playground which was full in kids and their parents. So many eyes on us. Many kids and adults came after us - just to ask what did happen to him (Really? Do you really think I whould stop to tell you NOW?). One woman whi was sitting on a bench next to once of entrances was shouting at me if I need help. I was shouting that I need help to take him to his medical clinic. Again and again she was shouting if I need help and I was shouting that I do need for taking him to his medical clinic. Somehow I amde to take him out of the playground and cross the road. The shouting woman came after me and again if I need help. You asked it already!!! An old man with some kind of bikes with some part for junks in the back (and he had junks) asked me 3 times if the dog has been run over. 3 times I said that he didn't. The shout woman asked him if he can take the dog in the back (with the junks) to the medical clinic. He rolled over. The only good thing that went out from her shoutings that I made a call to the medical clinic (from stress I didn't think of it) She saw I made the call and she still gave orders during my call. At the medical clicnic there was no one who come help to take him, but they were ready for us. In the moment I finnished the call - the shouting woman said that I needed to take him the bikes. ENOUGH!!!
Than came a guy that I don't even know. A sweet one. Someone who heard the stroy called him "an angel". This guy probably an angel. He stopped and asked if I need help. I said that I need help to take my dog to the medical clinic. This guy didn't think twice, grabbed Pie in his hands, and ran with us to the medical clinic (few minutes a walk away). The surgery room has been became vacant for Pie. This guy gave me a glass of water and stayed with me another few minutes. THem the guy told me he need to go. At least I rememberd to thank him. A moment after the guy went aways - I've been told to come to the room of the regular therapy. They made a try, but it was too late. Pie came without a pulse. His heart...

Yesterday I started with a try to let go. Pie will always stay a part of my life, but I need to let go a bit. For a start - yesterday I was for a moment at the foundation that I used to volunteer at, the same place that I was adopting Pie. I gave a donation of the treats that I still had. And two closed cans of wet food that I used for giving him pills (just in case that some dogs at the foundation need some pills). And some "bags" for taking after dogs.

I'm sure that one day I will adopt another dog, but I need some more time. I'm not sure how long.

And couple of old photos that I love. For a while there was a studio in Tel Aviv. A French photographer named Lior who moved to Israel. Her thing was taking photos of dogs with and without their human parents. We had two sessions at her studio. So, couple of photos of me with Pie, taken by Lior at her studio

Poncho

I sent to Liron Dahari one more photo of Poncho, the Labrador that I had till he passed away.
She made two different works with it. I can't choose which version I love more

Poncho

Poncho
The first dog that I had in my grown up life.
As a child I grew up with a cute female dog called Nooki.
When I was an adult and after a while of living alone - I was adopting Poncho.
He was a puppy when I adopting him. A sweet mix of Labrador and Golden Retriver.
Almost 12 years of pure love to Poncho.
If he was still alive - today was his birthday. It's a bit more than 8 since he passed away, few weeks before getting to age 12.

I still miss him, although I have another dog now

The dog

After a week without taking some photos (how did it happen?)
I had a chance to take some today. Twice things happened and I almost
missed one more day. Well, at least there was a beautiful dog at
Shenkin Street when I was there with my camera.
I know that one photo is correct, the other one
is wrong because of technique and because it isn't the way I pllaned, but...
I loke both photos.

I blame excitement for it isn't both of photos are correct with technique

T shirts

For a while I was thinking of having some T-shirts with some photos that I took. Someone asked me "where will you go with it?". Cocktail parties maybe.... Really, T-shirts. You can go anywhere with it.
Well, finally did it. For now a couple of T-shirts with the same photo that I took of my dog Pie. I made through Mali Art
