An interview

 Recently there was an interview that I find as interesting. Daniel Hendrick made an interview at his podcast with the opera singer Leonardo Caimi. Well, for those who still don't know - in the last years I got into opera. I love it. Looks like that between people who knows me - I was the only one shocked from the new love. And since I started to love operas - Leonardo Caimi is a singer that I really love. At summer of 2023 I had the honor to take some photos of Leonardo Caimi.

From time to time I write about people that I want to work with.
Recently I wrote that I want to work with the opera singer Leonardo Caimi.

Since I started to love operas and I see him as one of the reasons that I got into it...
Well, that dream came out for reality sooner that I thought.

Recently he came back to Tel Aviv for another production of The Israeli Opera.

He got a beard for this production. And I took some photos of him.
Those are few photos from this seassion.

I admit that I had in mind that I'll have a selfie with him at backstage

while I'm holding my proffesional camera, but dreams are one thing and reality is a disserent thing.
While I started to love operas - Istarted to love Leonardo Caimi and see him as one of

the reasons that I love operas now. He's and Italian opera singer (tenor).

He got back to Israel for a production of The Israeli Opera

for "Ila Travatore" (Verdi).

He accepted to give me some time For I'll do a proffesional photography session with him

out of stage and outdoors. I did upload here. I hoped to have another

session at backstage. He accepted, but I needed to ask the opera.

From the opera I received "no".
Few days ago I went to see the opera "Ila Travatore"

for my own pleasure (OK, also for seeing Leonardo).

Always after the shwos there is a conversation with the soloists singers.

He and two others made it. First time that I stayed for it.

THis time - when all over but Leonardo was still at his role's clothes - he

accepted to have a selfie with me, using my phone.

And yeah, also the real beard on his face is for the role, he usually shaved in his face

OK, so it's official that I started to love operas.
Leonardo Caimi is an opera singer from Italy that I started

to love by the way (I see him as one of the reasons that I love operas now).

I saw him at first time as Radames at "Aida" of  Verdi.
He's again at Tel Aviv. This time for "Il Travotare" of Verdi.

At the past I didn't like opera. I couldn't understand the shouting. And it reminds me a bad time in my life. Recently I start to change my mind. It less sounds like shouting and I start to hear to music behind. I start to understand it including a high level of the human voice. It could be that my life changes and it less reminds me the past. Probably because I get open for other kinds of music, I even hear from others that flamenco that I hear for years including shouting (what?). Maybe because I start to know some good opera singers and see some good movies around opera singers.

And why do I write about it?

Recently through Facebook I found out about a singer called Angel Blue (I guess it's her stage name). I saw a video that kids gives her an interview. I fell for the personality that went out of her. I could listen to her sinning parts there, and... I think that officially I love her and I start loving opera. 

I started to follow a page at Instagram that all around opera. I saw a video with a famous aria from The Magical Flute. Through the comments I found out who was the divine singer there, one even wrote that she fell for opera because of this singer. The name of the singer - Diana Damrau. 

Now at my with list there are two opera singers that I want to take their photos: Angel Blue and Diana Damrau
